Duo-Spore® Biological Indicator Test are reliable for monitoring steam, ethylene oxide, or dry heat sterilization cycles. These strips are prepared from Geobacillus stearothermophilus and Bacillus atrophaeus and come with two test strips and one control strip in two color-separated pouches.

To use these strips, process them using Tryptic Soy Broth (TSB) culture media in your facility. Propper Tryptic Soy Broth features a higher spore recovery rate, ensuring a more dependable test.

Positive test results may vary based on the media and source, most occurring within 24 hours for steam and 48 hours for ethylene oxide. In some cases, sub-lethally damaged spores may require longer incubation periods, up to 5 days.
